Break­fast and lunch menus

The fol­low­ing is a list of next week’s lunch menus for area schools and LOEL Cen­ter. Choice of 1 per­cent milk or non­fat choco­late milk is served with each school meal. LOEL Cen­ter lunches are avail­able to any­one age 60 and older; for reser­va­tions call 209-3693920.

Lodi Uni­fied K-8 break­fast

Tues­day: Home­made ap­ple oat muf­fin with cheese stick, scram­bled eggs with toast, whole grain rich as­sorted ce­real, fresh fall fruit, fruit juice, and milk.

Wed­nes­day: New peach turnover, nu­tri­grain bar with cheese stick, whole grain rich as­sorted ce­real, fresh fall fruit, dried fruit, and milk.

Thurs­day: Fresh made choco­late chip or­ange scone, yo­gurt cup with gra­ham, whole grain rich as­sorted ce­real, fresh fall fruit, fruit juice, and milk.

Fri­day: New break­fast bur­rito with cheese and egg, bagel with cream cheese and jelly, whole grain rich as­sorted ce­real, fresh fall fruit, and milk. Lodi Uni­fied K-8 lunch

Tues­day: Hearty chicken and wild rice soup with bread­stick, chicken and waf­fle sand­wich, pro­tein meal with wow­but­ter sand­wich, cheese stick, and gra­ham, spring let­tuce mix, turnip sticks, cauliflower, red bell pep­per, fresh fall fruit.

Wed­nes­day: Baja bar­be­cue meat­balls over rice, crispy chicken sand­wich, cheese pizza, spring let­tuce mix, cu­cum­bers, zuc­chini sticks, broc­coli, diced fruit, fresh fall fruit.

Thurs­day: Cal­i­for­nia Thurs­day’s new chile cheese tamale, scratch made bar­be­cue pulled pork sand­wich, Mexi-pocket, spring let­tuce mix, coleslaw, ji­cama sticks, peas, and fresh fall fruit.

Fri­day: Home­made pork car­nita taco with Span­ish rice, moz­zarella bread­sticks with mari­nara, Baja fish sticks with bis­cuit, spring let­tuce mix, roasted but­ter­nut squash, radishes, baked cin­na­mon ap­ples, fresh fall fruit. Mid­dle school lunch
