Spring into Action!

Log Home Living - - BRANCHING OUT -

What’s the best education money can buy this Spring? It’s a trip to THE LOG & TIMBER HOME SHOWS! Each event features scores of North America’s best log and timber home producers, handcrafters, builders and suppliers, as well as financial institutions and furniture makers.

Free one-hour informational sessions take place throughout the show, but if you are serious about your log home education, be sure to register for THE LOG & TIMBER UNIVERSITY — a live, five-hour crash course in design and construction taught by experts in the field — that runs in tandem with each Log & Timber Home Show. (Show attendance is included in the University registration fee, and University grads get into any future Log & Timber Home Show free for life!)

Here’s the schedule for the Spring semester (visit thelogand

Can’t make it to these events? You can still earn your log and timber home degree from the comfort of your easy chair with THE LOG & TIMBER UNIVERSITY ONLINE.

Hosted and taught by builder, engineer and forester Alex Charvat, this online course is divided into four easy-to-follow sessions that will guide you through the major phases of the process: planning, design, construction and upkeep. Best of all, you learn at your convenience, at your own pace.

With helpful video lessons, worksheets and questionnaires, as well as the ability to interact in a private Facebook group, you’ll be well on your way to living in your dream log or timber home!
