Van­dals dam­age gravesites

Van­dals have dam­aged dozens of gravesites in a Day­ton ceme­tery, in­clud­ing those for avi­a­tion pi­o­neers the Wright broth­ers and poet Paul Lau­rence Dun­bar.

Po­lice said an Amer­i­can flag and an avi­a­tion flag were taken from the Wright broth­ers site, and its flag­pole was bro­ken. A flag hon­or­ing Dun­bar was taken down and burned. Work­ers found 62 sites van­dal­ized Mon­day morn­ing; dam­age is es­ti­mated at $25,000.
