Poll shows Reid, Angle in dead heat for Senate
The latest poll on Nevada’s U.S. Senate race has Democratic Majority Leader Harry Reid and Republican challenger Sharron Angle in a dead heat, each with 43% support.
The poll reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal and KLAS-TV was the first to include all the candidates. Tea Party of Nevada candidate Scott Ashjian and the Independent American Party’s Tim Fasano each had 1% support.
Ashjian has been fighting conservative groups who want to remove him from the ballot. Angle has been endorsed by the national Tea Party Express.
The poll conducted this week by Mason-Dixon Polling & Research in Washington, D.C., had a sampling error margin of plus or minus 4 percentage points.
