at No. 6 Nebraska 17, South Dakota State 3: Rex Burkhead and Kyler Reed scored on consecutive series in the first half, but the Cornhuskers turned in an uninspired performance. Redshirt freshman quarterback Taylor Martinez, coming off three consecutive 100-yard rushing games, finished with 75 yards in 13 carries but was six for 14 passing for 140 yards. Kyle Minett rushed for 113 yards for the Jackrabbits (0-3).
at Kansas State 17, Central Florida 13: Carson Coffman’s seven-yard touchdown run with 24 seconds left lifted the Wildcats to their first 4-0 start since 2003. The Knights (2-2) dominated for much of the game, which was delayed for almost 11⁄ hours because of bad weather.
at Iowa State 27, Northern Iowa 0: Jeremy Reeves returned an interception 94 yards for a touchdown and A.J. Klein returned an interception for another score minutes later.
at Missouri 51, Miami (Ohio) 13: Carl Gettis returned a fumble 19 yards for a score on the first play of the game and was one of seven Tigers players who had a touchdown.
at Kansas 42, New Mexico State 16: D.J. Beshears scored three touchdowns, one on a 96-yard kickoff return, in the first half to propel the Jayhawks.
Baylor 30, at Rice 13: Robert Griffin passed for 268 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Bears in a game that included a weather delay of about an hour.
