at No. 9 Florida 48, Kentucky 14: Trey Burton set a Florida record by scoring six touchdowns in one game, as the Gators (4-0, 2-0 SEC) rolled to a win over Kentucky (3-1, 0-1) for their 24th straight win over the Wildcats.
at No. 14 LSU 20, No. 22 West Virginia 14: Patrick Peterson returned a punt 60 yards for a score and blocked a field goal, and the Tigers (4-0) held on for a victory over the Mountaineers (3-1).
at Tennessee 32, Alabama Birmingham 29 (2OT): Matt Simms hit Denarius Moore with a 25-yard touchdown pass on Tennessee’s first play of the second overtime period to give the Volunteers (2-2) a win over the Blazers (1-3).
at Mississippi State 24, Georgia 12: Vick Ballard ran for 77 yards and two touchdowns as the Mississippi State Bulldogs (2-2, 1-2) defeated the Georgia Bulldogs (1-2, 0-3). Quarterback Chris Relf attempted only 13 passes for 135 yards and a touchdown for Mississippi State, but he also carried the ball 21times for 97 in the victory.
at Mississippi 55, Fresno State 38: Brandon Bolden ran for a career-best 228 yards and a pair of touchdowns, as the Rebels (2-2) outlasted the Bulldogs (2-1).
