Crash in­jures 3 dur­ing film shoot

Three peo­ple were hurt when a car plowed into a film shoot on Pa­cific Coast High­way in Malibu.

The crash oc­curred about 8 p.m. Tues­day when the ve­hi­cle struck a fire hy­drant and three pedes­tri­ans who were part of a crew film­ing in the 20300 block of Pa­cific Coast High­way, said Sgt. Joe Co­var­ru­bias of the Los An­ge­les County Sher­iff ’s Depart­ment.

Two peo­ple were taken to hos­pi­tals and treated for non-life-threat­en­ing in­juries.

KNBC-TV Chan­nel 4 re­ported that the car was a part of the film set.

The high­way was closed in both di­rec­tions for sev­eral hours as au­thor­i­ties in­ves­ti­gated the crash.
