Archie Bunker’s place for sale

-

The Malibu home of the late actor Carroll O’Connor and Nancy Fields O’Connor is for sale at $10.95 million.

The 3,655-square-foot Moorish-style home includes a living room, a dining area, three bedrooms, four bathrooms and a sauna. High ceilings, large decks and a patio add an expansive feeling to the house, which was built in 1974.

There’s a swimming pool and a three-car garage on the nearly half-acre site.

Carroll O’Connor, who died in 2001 at 76, gained fame playing Archie Bunker on the 1970s sitcom “All in the Family.” He also starred in the spinoff series “Archie Bunker’s Place” and, starting in the late 1980s, the crime drama “In the Heat of the Night.”

Documentary producer Nancy Fields O’Connor, who died last year at 84, is credited with encouraging her husband to take the “All in the Family” role.

The family owned the house for more than 30 years.

Jack Pritchett of Pritchett-Rapf & Associates is the listing agent.
