Free admission to national parks
As part of National Park Week, you can get free admission Sunday to all national parks, historic sites and other locations managed by the park service. It’s part of an effort to honor “America’s best idea” and get more Americans to go visit, particularly as the National Park Service revs up for its centennial in 2016. The park service and the National Park Foundation recently rolled out a new website — www.findyourpark.com — to help people find national parks near them. The site lets you search by ZIP Code or by park name and find information on more than 400 parklands nationwide. Info: www.nps.gov/npweek. To see the L.A.
