Ar­raign­ment is de­layed in killing

The ar­raign­ment of a for­mer Los An­ge­les po­lice of­fi­cer charged with killing a man out­side a bar while off duty has been post­poned un­til the end of the month.

Henry So­lis re­turned to Cal­i­for­nia on Thurs­day af­ter a two-month man­hunt. He was ar­rested in Mex­ico last week and de­ported to Texas.

So­lis, 27, was wanted in the shoot­ing death of 23year-old Salome Ro­driguez fol­low­ing a dis­pute at a Pomona night­club in March. So­lis was a pro­ba­tion­ary of­fi­cer at the time.

He faces one count of mur­der and one count of as­sault with a firearm.

So­lis is be­ing held in lieu of $2-mil­lion bail. Pros­e­cu­tors want the bail in­creased to $10 mil­lion.
