KEY MO­MENT: The Dodgers took con­trol of the game with a five-run fourth in­ning that started with a sin­gle by Howie Ken­drick. Yas­mani Gran­dal walked and Alex Guer­rero sin­gled to drive in Ken­drick. Left fielder En­der In­cia­rte made a throw­ing er­ror on Guer­rero’s hit, al­low­ing Gran­dal to ad­vance to third base and Guer­rero to sec­ond. An­dre Ethier drove in Gran­dal with a sin­gle, af­ter which Jimmy Rollins hit a three-run home run to cen­ter field. The Dodgers were up, 6-0.

AT THE PLATE: The Dodgers roughed up Rubby De La Rosa, who at one time was con­sid­ered one of their top prospects. The Dodgers got to De La Rosa for nine runs and 10 hits over five innings. Ethier struck the fi­nal blow, launch­ing a three-run home run in the fifth in­ning. Ethier was two for four with two runs and four runs bat­ted in. Ken­drick, who didn’t start any of the pre­vi­ous four games be­cause of a sore knee, was three for four with two runs and an RBI.

ON THE MOUND: Mike Bolsinger limited his for­mer team to two runs and three hits over seven innings. He struck out eight bat­ters and walked two. The runs came in the sixth in­ning on a two-run dou­ble by A.J. Pol­lock. J.P. How­ell pitched a score­less eighth in­ning.

EX­TRA BASES: Bob Baf­fert, the trainer of triple-crown-win­ning thor­ough­bred Amer­i­can Pharoah, will throw out the cer­e­mo­nial first pitch Tues­day at Dodger Sta­dium. … Re­ha­bil­i­tat­ing right-handed re­liever Bran­don League touched 90 mph with his fast­ball in his mi­nor league ap­pear­ance Sun­day, Dodgers Manager Don Mat­tingly said.
