Nokia Theatre is now Mi­crosoft

The Nokia Theatre, part of down­town’s L.A. Live com­plex, has been rechris­tened as the Mi­crosoft Theater.

The 7,100-seat venue has been part of the re­vi­tal­iza­tion of down­town Los An­ge­les. Since the theater opened in 2007, more than 3.5 mil­lion fans have at­tended more than 700 events.

Mi­crosoft will be ren­o­vat­ing some in­te­rior AV equip­ment and public spa­ces at L.A. Live as part of the re­brand­ing.

The plaza at L.A. Live will now be known as Mi­crosoft Square.
