Last sum­mer the film be­witched movie­go­ers with a re­vi­sion­ist take on the “Sleep­ing Beauty” tale and hauled in $758 mil­lion at the world­wide box of­fice.

Hurt: Two-time Os­car nom­i­nee John Hurt, 75, known to one gen­er­a­tion of movie­go­ers as the Ele­phant Man and another as Ol­li­van­der of “Harry Pot­ter,” said Tues­day that he has earlystage pan­cre­atic can­cer. The ac­tor said he will keep work­ing as he re­ceives treat­ment.
