Aaron Paul’s new ‘Way’

Aaron Paul, who won three Emmy awards for his por­trayal of trou­bled junkie Jesse Pinkman in “Break­ing Bad,” will star in Hulu’s new orig­i­nal se­ries “The Way.”

Paul will also be a pro­ducer on the se­ries, which is from Uni­ver­sal Tele­vi­sion and Jason Ka­tims’ True Jack Pro­duc­tions. The se­ries was cre­ated by Jes­sica Gold­berg, who will write and serve as ex­ec­u­tive pro­ducer along with Ka­tims and Michelle Lee.

Paul will play Ed­die Cleary, a con­vert to a con­tro­ver­sial move­ment with a way­ward past. He’s a hus­band (Michelle Mon­aghan will play his wife) and fa­ther who suf­fers a cri­sis of faith when all that he’s come to ac­cept as truth in his life is fun­da­men­tally chal­lenged. “The Way” is sched­uled to pre­miere in win­ter.
