All six of the Envelope’s Buzzmeter panelists predict that Queen Latifah, above, will earn an Emmy nomination for her portrayal of 1920s blues singer Bessie Smith in the HBO biopic “Bessie.” It’s a tough f ield, what with Frances McDormand, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Felicity Huffman also in the running, among many other talents, but Latifah surely has a place right alongside them.
