Fal­lon ‘ fine’ af­ter in­jur­ing his hand

NBC aired a re­peat of “The Tonight Show” on Fri­day be­cause host Jimmy Fal­lon was hos­pi­tal­ized for mi­nor surgery. The 38- yearold host in­jured his hand but is “to­tally f ine,” his rep told The Times.

Mes­sages on the talk show’s of­fi­cial Twit­ter ac­count said that those with tick­ets to Fri­day’s show would be con­tacted with reschedul­ing in­for­ma­tion.

Re­ports sur­faced Fri­day claim­ing that Fal­lon suf­fered the in­jury af­ter a night on the town fol­low­ing Thurs­day’s tap­ing, which fea­tured “Ted 2” star Mark Wahlberg and “Glee” alum Chris Colfer.
