Los Angeles Times - - TECHNOLOGY -

A jury has awarded $ 2 million to a young Swedish woman who sued her former Wall Street boss for sexual harassment.

The decision came at a Manhattan civil trial in which Hanna Bouveng accused Benjamin Wey of using his power as owner of New York Global Group to coerce her into sexual encounters before firing her after discovering she had a boyfriend.

She testified that he also launched a smear campaign online, depicting her falsely as a prostitute, extortionist or drug user.

Wey said he never had sex with her.
