The clos­est she came was at­tend­ing a comedy class early in her ca­reer. “It was ter­ri­fy­ing. I did not re­turn,” says Leo, 56. I’m Dy­ing Up Here is a rather se­ri­ous drama about a group of co­me­di­ans try­ing to break into the L.A. comedy scene of the 1970s.
