Finding a match
What to know about joining the bone marrow registry.
Doctors prefer donors between 18 and 44, but anyone up to 60 can sign up.
Some medical conditions can make you ineligible to donate.
People who sign up for the registry can back out of the donation process at any time but are encouraged to sign up only if they’re sure they want to donate.
Approximately 1 out of 430 people who join the registry ends up donating bone marrow.
You can sign up for the registry at bethematch.org or find a drive near you.
