T’WOLVES BOMB RAIDERS Cow­boys take down Out­laws

Keanu Due­nas and Tommy Perea com­bined for five touch­downs Satur­day to lead the Man­teca Jr. Tim­ber­wolves var­sity to a 51-7 shel­lack­ing of the Modesto Raiders.

Due­nas (six car­ries, 79 yards) scored on runs of 5, 30 and 34 yards and Perea (five car­ries, 32 yards; one re­cep­tion, 18 yards) posted 8- and 10-yard touch­down runs. Ja­son Agu­lay (three car­ries, 67 yards) had a 50-yard scor­ing scam­per and Jaden Ce­jaMoreno had a 7-yard touch­down run. Ali­jah Cota posted 52 yards on eight car­ries.

Luis Rivera led Man­teca with eight tackles. Ja­son Agu­lay added seven stops, Cota six, Adrian Rios, Ja­cob Codde and Keanu Due­nas four each and Jaden Ce­jaMoreno three. Man­teca Cow­boys 47, Cen­tral Val­ley Out­laws 0 Keona Cay­ode scored three touch­downs for the Cow­boys and Man­teca re­turned three in­ter­cep­tions for touch­downs. Cay­ode (138 yards rush­ing) scored on

runs of 15, 43 and 55 yards and Dy­lan Lee hit R.J. Baci­galupi with a 10-yard touch­down pass. Mar­ques Cal­la­han re­turned two in­ter­cep­tions for touch­downs — one of 40 yards and one of 70 — and In­derveer Sandhu had a 45-yard in­ter­cep­tion re­turn for a touch­down. Emilio Perez and Ju­nior Espinoza also played well on of­fense for Man­teca.

An­gel Ramirez and Emilio Perez led the Cow­boys with five tackles apiece with sup­port from Sandhu and Nick Ward.

Ju­nior Var­sity Cow­boys 33, Out­laws 20 Bryson Davis scored four touch­downs for the Cow­boys and three Man­teca scores were set up by turnovers.

Davis (11 car­ries, 244 yards) scored on runs of 12, 47, and 71 yards and on a 68-yard pass from Omar Dias (five com­ple­tions, 130 yards) and Dias hit Lan­don But­ler with a 7-yard scor­ing pass.

Gabriel Flores had nine car­ries for 52 yards, Blake Mount 19 yards on five car­ries and Ju­lian Perea and the ball twice for 15 yards.

Cow­boy scores were set up by a Mount fum­ble re­cov­ery – forced by San­tana Steven­son (eight tackles) – and an­other by Gavin Good­win, also forced by Steven­son. Isaac Al­varez (eight tackles) forced a fum­ble on the last play of the fourth quar­ter.

Ivan Al­varez made 13 tackles for Man­teca. Mount added 12 stops, Davis and Ni­cholas Sal­cedo nine, Gavin Good­win eight and Dono­van Jones seven.

Rook­ies Cow­boys 46, Out­laws 0 Seven play­ers scored for the Cow­boys. An­thony Mo­rales (51 yards rush­ing) was the lone Man­teca run­ner to score twice on a 23-yard run and a 6-yard pass to Martin Uribe. Nikko Juarez scored on a 63-yard run on his lone carry, Rob­bie Espinosa (46 yards rush­ing) had a 5-yard touch­down run, Dy­lan Stonum (38 yards rush­ing) scored on a 29-yard run, Jeremy Ap’e (55 yards rush­ing) had a 5-yard touch­down run and Shane Lewis (20 yards rush­ing) had a 1-yard scor­ing plunge.

The Cow­boys de­fense al­lowed just one first down with Gabriel Lopez, Christo­pher Gal­lego, Devin Downey, Martin Uribe, Koa Ro­drigues, Izi­aha Gray, Kay­den Jones, Juarez and Stonum all mak­ing three tackles apiece. Starts Cow­boys 40, Out­laws 0 Elias Lopez ran wild for the Cow­boys, gain­ing 197 yards on just five car­ries with four touch­downs. Lopez scored on runs of 18, 34, 66 and 69 yards. Kaleb Moreno (six car­ries, 89 yards) scored on a 54-yard run and Isaac Estrada car­ried the ball once for a 55-yard touch­down. Lopez dom­i­nated on de­fense as well with 10 tackles. Daniel Bass Jr. added eight tackles and Adrian Sena three.

Jr. Tim­ber­wolves 26, Raiders 6 Eli­jah Pugh ran for 151 yards and Brody Cara­bello scored two touch­downs for the Jr. Tim­ber­wolves.

Pugh gained his 151 yards on just five car­ries with a 39-yard touch­down run. Cara­bello (three car­ries, 28 yards) had touch­down runs of 8 and 20 yards and Ken­dall Sweet-Mal­lory had an 8-yard touch­down run. Lei­land Riggel­man had eight car­ries for 66 yards.

Brody Cara­bello had eight tackles, Bren­nan McMichael six, Alex Espinoza four and Tino Tor­res three. Pugh and Riggel­man also con­trib­uted on de­fense. Trans-Val­ley Youth Foot­ball League Var­sity Ripon Knights 33, Hugh­son Oil­ers 6 Blake Nichel­son ran for 176 yards and scored three times on 11 car­ries for the Knights. Nichel­son had scor­ing runs 18, 41 and 86 yards. Derek Vanelderen added a 52-yard touch­down run and Thys Van­der­hoek scored on an 81-yard pass from Trey Fasani.

Nichel­son, Stan­ley Ken­sic and Thys Van­der­hoek had eight tackles each, Ja­cob Cormier added six stops and Lo­gan Pol­lard had four.

Ju­nior Var­sity Knights 36, Oil­ers 0 Jace Bei­dle­man threw for two touch­downs for the Knights.

Bei­dle­man threw for 117 yards pass­ing with a 29-yard scor­ing throw to Car­son San­ders and one of 49 yards to An­den Ries. Stephen Dill­man (70 yards rush­ing) added a 9-yard touch­down run and Ja­cob Camper scored from 38 yards out. Pre­ston Zuider­vaart pitched in 64 re­ceiv­ing yards

San­ders (four tackles) re­turned a fum­ble 65 yards for a touch­down. Ja­cob Camper had 11 tackles, Andrew Men­soni­dis (fum­ble re­cov­ery) six, Ries (forced fum­ble) four, Cade Gem­mell (forced fum­ble) and Kon­ner Ki­bler three each and Chase Bo­getti and Jesse Healy two apiece. Car­son Bun­nell forced a fum­ble. Novice Knights 18, Oil­ers 6 Gavin De­cena had just four car­ries for the Knights but he scored on three of them.

De­cena to­taled 140 yards with touch­down runs of 3, 45 and 90 yards be­hind the dom­i­nat­ing of­fen­sive line of Nate New, Wy­att Prime, Josh Ja­cob­son, Jesse Walker, and Alex Rader. CenCal Ju­nior Var­sity Man­teca Raiders 20, Merced Bears 0 Nathan Cedolini threw for one touch­down and ran for two for the Raiders. Cedolini (5 of 9 pass­ing, 68 yards) spot­ted Damien Rease with a 6-yard scor­ing pass in the sec­ond quar­ter and An­thony Grady (19 yards rush­ing; 78 yards re­ceiv­ing) with a 12-yard scor­ing pass in the fourth quar­ter. Cedolini ran in a 6-yard score in the third quar­ter. Fer­nando Vil­lal­vazo had eight car­ries for 38 yards. Man­teca’s Ed­uardo Ramirez was in on nine tackles fol­lowed by Sa­muel Avila with six stops and Iza­yas Reyes with four. Pee­wees Bears 28, Raiders 0 Isaac Co­var­ru­bias tal­lies 27 yards on five car­ries for the Raiders. Zack­ery Smith, Dean Sor­to­nis, Aeryk Sny­der, Jax­son Messer and Manuel Haro all played well on de­fense for Man­teca. Rook­ies Raiders, Bears (no score kept at this level) De­An­dre Pat­ter­son led the Raiders at­tack with four car­ries for 135 yards and two touch­downs. Kris­tian Mi­randa added two car­ries for 28 yards and made three tackles. Eli­jah Arre­ola was in on seven stops, Valentino Dominguez and Jaxon Het­rick had three tackles each and Ivan Garay made two tackles. Moth­er­lode Val­ley Foot­ball League JV Ripon Chiefs 32, Tuolomne Bears 0 Gar­ri­son Reis threw for one touch­down and ran for an­other for the Chiefs.

Reis (7 for 11 pass­ing, 78 yards) ran for a 1-yard score and hit Xza­vier Clark (three re­cep­tions, 16 yards) with a 5-yard scor­ing strike.

Kaden MacDan­nald ground out 143 yards on 10 car­ries with a 50-yard touch­down run, Je­sus Ochoa (five car­ries, 20 yards) had a 3-yard scor­ing run and Clark scored on a 54-yard punt re­turn. Tyler Paul Went­worth pulled in six re­cep­tions for 44 yards, Quinn Martinez had one catch for 18 yards and Seth Van Dyk tal­lied 20 yards on five car­ries.

Van Dyk forced a fum­ble and made 10 tackles, Went­worth was in on nine tackles and re­cov­ered a fum­ble with Ochoa (tipped pass), Clark (fum­ble re­cov­ery), Reis and Ty Her­rin all mak­ing three tackles apiece.
