Douglas is only qualified GOP Senate candidate

Maryland Independent - - Community Forum -

There are 14 Republican candidates on the ballot, but only three serious contenders according to major news outlets and polling: Chrys Kefalas and Kathy Szeliga, both from Baltimore, and Richard Douglas who resides in College Park.

I support Richard Douglas for the U.S. Senate and I hope you will as well. He is the only one of these candidates who can beat [Democrats] Donna Edwards or Chris Van Hollen in November on his own merits and message.

The Douglas campaign is a grassroots effort. Douglas supporters recognize he has the core competencies and gravitas to represent Maryland’s interests on the national stage in Washington, D.C. They know we cannot afford to send a rookie to the U.S. Senate for on-the-job training while Marylanders struggle to find jobs and pay taxes.

Douglas has a depth of knowledge, professional experience, and worldview that is unmatched by his opponents. He can stand on the U.S. Senate floor and speak eloquently and with authority on the critical issues facing Maryland and our nation. He is well versed on issues as diverse as job creation, taxes, national security, military operations, veterans, immigration, international trade, and foreign relations. The endorsement of Ambassador John Bolton is not too shabby either.

Maryland needs Richard Douglas and he needs your vote on April 26.
