Voters are speaking

Maryland Independent - - Community Forum -

In a democracy, the voice of the people is measured by their votes. In this primary period, delegates are elected to represent the view of the people. It is vital for the Democratic and Republican national committees treat the voters with dignity and respect by representing the people based upon the votes.

It is unacceptable to have a nominee that didn’t participate in the process or did not receive sufficient support (votes). It is imperative that the voters are treated with dignity and respect. Therefore Mrs. Hillary Clinton, Mr. Bernie Sanders, Mr. Ted Cruz and Mr. Donald Trump are the only viable candidates.

The definition of a delegate is “a person authorized to act for others.”
