El­more helps Lenoir-Rhyne to win

The Lenoir-Rhyne Univer­sity (N.C.) women’s lacrosse team cel­e­brated its se­nior day in style with a 19-5 vic­tory over Lin­coln Memo­rial (Tenn.) on April 16 in a South At­lantic Con­fer­ence game at Moretz Sta­dium.

The Bears (9-6, 6-1 South At­lantic as of April 16) re­mained in sole pos­ses­sion of sec­ond place in the con­fer­ence stand­ings as of April 16.

Fresh­man mid­fielder Rachel El­more, a McDonough High School grad­u­ate from White Plains, scored three goals in the vic­tory. El­more also had an as­sist to fin­ish with four points on the day. She also contributed five shots, five shots on goal, one ground­ball and five draw con­trols.
