Police investigating numerous thefts/burglaries
Between April 29 and May 2, someone broke into a trailer in the 15000 block of Hens Rest Lane in Waldorf and stole a KTM 85 and a KTM 65 dirt bike. Numerous motocross items, to include gloves, helmets and boots were also stolen. Pfc. P. Morgan is investigating.
Between April 29 and May 2, someone broke into a shed in the 12000 block of Hatton Creek Road in Newburg and stole a push mower, vehicle batteries and other items. Pfc. J. Campbell is investigating.
Sometime between April 30 and May 1, someone stole four tires from a Dodge Charger which was parked in the 6000 block of New Forest Court in Waldorf. Pfc. J. Plunkett is investigating.
On April 29 at 3 p.m., officers responded to the 6900 block of Dicandia Dorsey Place in Hughesville for the report of a theft. Investigation showed someone broke out a window of a shed and stole a power washer, an edger and other items. Officer C. Collins is investigating.
On April 28 at 5:09 p.m., officers responded to the 3700 block of Old Washington Road in Waldorf for the report of a theft. Investigation showed someone pried open the front door of a house and stole several items. Officer G. Cook and Det. C. Gilroy are investigating.
On April 28 between noon and 8 p.m., someone broke into a hotel room at the Waldorf Motel and stole tennis shoes and other items. Offi- cer L. Miles is investigating.
On April 28 at approximately 1:45 a.m., someone broke into a business at 4781 Crain Highway in White Plains and attempted to steal several guns which were in a display case. The suspects were unsuccessful and fled. Officer A. Bringley is investigating.
On April 27, sometime during the day, somoene broke into a house in the 100 block of Circle Avenue in Indian Head and stole several long guns, a cross bow and other items. Pfc. D. Sylvestre and Det. C. Gilroy are investigating.
On April 26, during the daytime hours, someone broke into a house in the 2300 block of Hazelwood Court in Waldorf and stole jewelry and other items. Officer G. Cook is investigating.
