The fol­low­ing items were com­piled from re­ports from the Charles County Sher­iff’s Of­fice.

Wheels and tires stolen

Some­time be­tween the hours of 8 p.m. on May 20 and 10 a.m. on May 21, some­one stole four black wheels and tires from a 2014 Dodge Charger that was parked in the 11000 block of St. Martha Drive in Wal­dorf. The ve­hi­cle was left sit­ting on brick pavers. Cpl. T. Hem­s­ley is in­ves­ti­gat­ing.

Po­lice in­ves­ti­gate van­dal­ism at North Point High School

On May 21 at 8:50 a.m., of­fi­cers re­sponded to North Point High School for the report of a de­struc­tion of prop­erty. Upon ar­rival, of­fi­cers dis­cov­ered that pro­fan­i­ties and other mes­sages had been spray painted on the foot­ball field press box and ea­gle statue. This in­ci­dent ap­pears to be re­lated to sev­eral other in­ci­dents which took place last week at the same lo­ca­tion. M/Cpl. P. McCue is in­ves­ti­gat­ing.

Man ar­rested for al­legedly steal­ing jew­elry

On May 20, of­fi­cers re­sponded to the 5000 block of Sea­horse Place in Wal­dorf for the report of a theft. Upon ar­rival, of­fi­cers in­ter­viewed the vic­tim, who ad­vised that sev­eral pieces of her jew­elry had gone miss­ing in the weeks prior. An in­ves­ti­ga­tion re­vealed that a rel­a­tive of the vic­tim had re­cently pawned sev­eral pieces of jew­elry. Of­fi­cers in­ter­viewed Mellique Ni­cholas, 20, of Wal­dorf, who ad­mit­ted to steal­ing the jew­elry and pawn­ing it off. Ni­cholas was ar­rested and charged with theft scheme over $1000. Some of the stolen prop­erty was re­cov­ered at a lo­cal pawn shop. Of­fi­cer C. Cham­blee is in­ves­ti­gat­ing.

Teen as­saulted, robbed near Wal­dorf Van-Go stop

On May 20 at 6:30 p.m., a 15-year-old male was ap­proached by four males wear­ing ski masks at the Van-Go stop in the 2300 block of Davis Road in Wal­dorf. One of the sus­pects picked the vic­tim up off his feet and threw him to the ground while the other sus­pects went through his pock­ets and took a wrist watch and cash. The vic­tim was able to get to his feet and flee the scene. Pfc. R. Her­bert is in­ves­ti­gat­ing.
