Financial services firm Edward Jones was recently named one of the country’s Best Workplaces for Flexibility by Fortune magazine and Great Place to Work, according to Ernie Espejo, one of four Edward Jones financial advisors in Charles County.

Fortune magazine and Great Place to Work analyzed more than 500 companies across a range of industries. Edward Jones ranked No. 23 on the list of the top 50 companies due to its flexible workplace policies and an office culture that encourages using those policies.

“Offering flexibility helps our associates balance their work with the rest of the priorities in their lives,” Espejo said in a press release. “We offer a variety of work arrangements — from associates who work at home to financial advisors who are able to modify their schedules to meet their needs and the needs of our clients.”

The firm also ranked No. 10 on Fortune magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For 2016” list. It has appeared on the list 17 times.
