Thank you for help­ing Project Grad­u­a­tion

Ki­wa­nis Club of Charles County ex­tends sin­cere thanks to the many busi­nesses and or­ga­ni­za­tions who sup­ported our ef­forts with Project Grad­u­a­tion this year.

The event was held at the Col­lege of South­ern Mary­land on June 2, 3, and 4 as a cel­e­bra­tion of the re­cent 2016 high school grad­u­ates. The sup­port­ers con­trib­uted to the suc­cess of the event with do­na­tions of money, food and time.

The many or­ga­ni­za­tions and busi­nesses in­cluded: Ap­ple Spice, Babes Boy, Burger King, Charles Street Baker y, Check­ers, Cir­cus Cir­cus Ice Cream, Col­lege of South­ern Mary­land, Domino’s of Bryans Road and La Plata, Ed­u­ca­tional Sys­tems FCU, El­bert’s Ice, Fa­mous Dave’s, Grille 13/Sugar Lips, Hoot­ers, Ki­wa­nis Club of Wal­dorf, Ledo’s of La Plata and Wal­dorf, Out­back of Wal­dorf, Pizza Hot­line in La Plata, Pizza Hut of La Plata and Wal­dorf, Stacey Miller Ca­ter­ing, Star­bucks, Utz Chips, Vo­celli’s and Wal­dorf Lions Club.

We also thank the Charles County Cit­i­zens for Sub­stance Free Youth, led by John Hay­den, and all the vol­un­teers who of­fered their time to make this event such a suc­cess.

Again, thank you to all for mak­ing a dif­fer­ence in our schools and com­mu­nity.
