Deal­er­ship makes Spec. Olympic Torch Run con­tri­bu­tion

Wal­dorf Toy­ota made a $2,000 con­tri­bu­tion to the Charles County Sher­riff’s Of­fice in sup­port of the Law En­force­ment Torch Run for Spe­cial Olympics June 9 to ben­e­fit Spe­cial Olympics Mary­land.

The deal­er­ship’s con­tri­bu­tion was in honor of 9-yearold An­thony “Stormie” Zan­fordino, who par­tic­i­pated in the Torch Run and ended it with a “Su­per­man” pose.

Em­ploy­ees of Wal­dorf Toy­ota were given 2016 Torch Run T-shirts and hats to wear to work that day and posed for a photo at the time of the event, hold­ing the Su­per­man pose in honor of Stormie.

Spe­cial Olympics Mary­land of­fers chil­dren and adults with in­tel­lec­tual dis­abil­i­ties year-round train­ing and com­pe­ti­tion in 30 Olympic-style sum­mer and win­ter sports.
