Fen­wick joins Wal­dorf bank’s busi­ness staff

Com­mu­nity Bank of the Ch­e­sa­peake hires Aaron Fen­wick as vice pres­i­dent and com­mer­cial loan of­fi­cer for the Charles County mar­ket. In this role, he will fo­cus on han­dling small busi­ness lend­ing.

“We are thrilled to have Aaron as part of our team,” said Greg Cock­er­ham, ex­ec­u­tive vice pres­i­dent and chief lend­ing of­fi­cer of the Wal­dorf bank. “I have full con­fi­dence that Aaron’s ex­ten­sive back­ground and project man­age­ment skills will help him im­prove our out­reach so that we can con­tinue to ex­ceed the needs of our clients in the small busi­ness sec­tor.”

Fen­wick has over 13 years of ex­pe­ri­ence in client man­age­ment, com­mer­cial credit train­ing and the bank­ing in­dus­try. He most re­cently was vice pres­i­dent at Cap­i­tal One Bank.

He cur­rently serves as a board mem­ber for the La Plata Blue Knights and vol­un­teers his time to coach youth foot­ball. Fen­wick is also the founder and ex­ec­u­tive di­rec­tor of Spar­row De­vel­op­ment Cen­ter, a non-profit or­ga­ni­za­tion fo­cused on early child­hood ed­u­ca­tion.
