Edward Jones earned recognition as a top full-service investment firm in providing clarity about fees as well as unbiased advice and service to investors in a research firm Hearts & Wallets survey, according to Ernie Espejo, one of four Edward Jones financial advisors in Charles County. According to a press release from the firm, the study, which ranked 24 financial firms based on more than 10 different attributes, found that Edward Jones outperformed across nearly all attributes, including the top three: fees clear and understandable; unbiased, puts my interests first; and explains things in understandable terms. “This is a wonderful validation of how we strive to deliver the experience valued by our clients,” Edward Jones Managing Partner Jim Weddle said in the release. “These findings demonstrate that our clients trust us to understand their individual financial needs and to keep their best interests first as we help them achieve their financial goals.” The investment firm was named Fortune magazine’s 100 Best Companies to Work For in 2016 and is headquartered in St. Louis. The firm has offices all over Southern Maryland including Charles County.
