Women to Women Regional Summit set for Aug. 3
The Women to Women networking group of the Calvert County Chamber of Commerce is hosting its second annual Women to Women Regional Summit for Business Women in Southern Maryland and surrounding areas.
More than 100 women leaders in business, politics, health, technology, media, philanthropy, fashion and entertainment will participate in the summit which will be held from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, at the College of Southern Maryland’s Prince Frederick Campus in the Conference Center in Building B.
The summit was created to provide seasoned and budding working women and entrepreneurs access to business centered workshops, health education and fitness advice, along with delivering applicable tools to enhance business growth and overall personal well being, according to a chamber press release.
The summit will explore ways to set and achieve personal and career related goals. Break out sessions will include dressing for success with “Be your Best,” ways to engage your audience with “Be a Better Public Speaker” or learn to time manage with “Work Life Balance.” The day will close with the keynote speaker Cindy Allen, chief investigator with the AMTRAK Police, who will discuss career challenges for women in the workforce
