Cool, Ramos attend national retirement research meeting
Joyce Cool and Robert Ramos recently attended the 18th annual meeting of the Retirement Research Consortium held at The National Press Club in Washington, DC.
The Retirement Research Consortium is an academic partnership between the University of Michigan Retirement Research Center, the Center for Retirement Research at Boston College, the National Bureau of Economic Research and the Social Security Administration, according to a press release.
The two day event included seven in-depth panel discussions by academicians from a broad spectrum of institutions. Topics included the impact of health, personal finances, government programs, debt on today’s retirees and the outlook for future retirees.
“We saw this event as a wonderful opportunity to view cutting edge research about retirement and how we can incorporate this research in our daily interactions with our clients,” Ramos said in the press release.
Cool and Ramos are the co-founders of Wealth Management Partners, a Waldorf-based personal financial planning firm. For more information, call 301-885-0955.
