Leave it to God

In response to Janet Beck’s letter in the June 29 edition:

I’m sure the Democratic Party would be very pleased to carry out the new federal directive for public schools to allow transgender students to use the bathroom that corresponds with their gender identity, outlined in Title IX. However, I don’t believe God would be pleased in altering his creation. I’m sure he would have come up with it first when he created man and woman. I’m not sure how this would improve a child’s education.

Wayne A. Root, in his book “The Murder of the Middle Class,” says, “Education is vitally important if we’re going to rescue the middle class. For most of this country’s history, Americans worked their way into the middle class by availing themselves of every education opportunity. They bettered themselves by learning the skills they would need to produce goods and services that would make them a decent living, and improve the lives of their fellow citizens.”

I believe, as always, that following God’s plan, rather than the government’s plan, will make us a better nation. Let’s put prayer back in the schools and leave the sexes the way God created them.
