Maryland Chamber hosts conference in Cambridge
The Maryland Chamber of Commerce’s Business Policy & Competitiveness Conference is scheduled for Sept. 15-16 at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina in Cambridge.
Business, policy and academic leaders from around the state are expected to attend the conference to discuss business growth and public policy, according to a press release.
This year’s conference will include:
• A panel of county commissioners discussing economic development activities and challenges, moderated by Commerce Secretary Mike Gill;
• Tradepoint Atlantic (formerly Sparrows Point) presentation, highlighting current and future opportunities;
• Employment and environmental policy sessions;
• A senatorial candidate forum to hear from the candidates vying for Sen. Barbara Mikulski’s seat.
