Golf tournament a success
Above average temperatures didn’t keep 121 golfers off the course at Swan Point on Aug. 19. The Charles County Retired School Personnel Association’s annual golf tournament was played under sunny skies, very good course conditions and a slight breeze. All players seemed to have a great time. What more could you ask for: golf, food and drink.
The tournament was a tremendous success. Proceeds will enable our organization to meet all of its financial obligations for the coming year. Scholarships, the Port Tobacco One-Room School and contributions to various organizations will be fully funded.
