Flu vaccinations available at area Giants

To help customers stay healthy this flu season, vaccinations are now available at all Giant Food in-store pharmacies in Maryland, according to a press release.

Flu vaccinations are administered by Giant’s pharmacists with no appointment necessary.

Most insurance plans cover flu shots with no co-pays and Giant pharmacies bill them directly, including Medicare. Standard flu shots for both adults and children are available, as well as other flu vaccinations, including the “quad” and high dose vaccines. Customers receiving flu shots will also receive a free coupon book with more than $40 in savings.

In addition to receiving flu shots, customers will be offered free vaccination reviews. With a few simple questions, Giant pharmacists are able to determine if you are missing any recommended adult vaccinations.
