Nom­i­na­tions needed for phi­lan­thropy awards

The Com­mu­nity Foun­da­tion of South­ern Mary­land is re­quest­ing nom­i­na­tions for busi­nesses who give back in ex­tra­or­di­nary ways to be in­ducted into the or­ga­ni­za­tion’s Phi­lan­thropy Hall of Fame, ac­cord­ing to a press re­lease.

The foun­da­tion is gear­ing up for its An­nual Phi­lan­thropy Day Lun­cheon at 11:30 a.m. Fri­day, Nov. 4, at the Waldorf Jaycees Com­mu­nity Cen­ter. This year’s theme is Cel­e­brat­ing Busi­ness Phi­lan­thropy in South­ern Mary­land.

The pub­lic is en­cour­aged to join the cel­e­bra­tion. Tick­ets are $40 and with an RSVP by Mon­day, Oct. 31.
