CSM earns workplace excellence awards
The College of Southern Maryland was one of 53 companies nationally to earn the 2016 Workplace Excellence Seal of Approval Award and one of 37 companies to earn the 2016 Health & Wellness Seal of Approval Award. The awards are conferred by the Alliance for Workplace Excellence.
The awards were accepted Jennifer Rupp, lead director of compensation and benefits, Mychal Coleman, associate vice president of human resources, and Mary Johnson, benefits specialist, at the annual awards luncheon June 10 in Bethesda.
All award recipients assessed by an independent review panel of business professionals and master’s and doctorate level stu- dents in the fields of business, industrial and organizational psychology, human resources, environmental science, public health, and diversity and inclusion.
CSM is an 11-time recipient of the Excellence Seal of Approval Award, a six-time recipient of the Health & Wellness Seal of Approval Award, a three-time recipient of the EcoLeadership Award and a two-time recipient of the Diversity Champion Award.
