CSM earns work­place ex­cel­lence awards

The Col­lege of South­ern Mary­land was one of 53 com­pa­nies na­tion­ally to earn the 2016 Work­place Ex­cel­lence Seal of Ap­proval Award and one of 37 com­pa­nies to earn the 2016 Health & Well­ness Seal of Ap­proval Award. The awards are con­ferred by the Al­liance for Work­place Ex­cel­lence.

The awards were ac­cepted Jen­nifer Rupp, lead di­rec­tor of com­pen­sa­tion and ben­e­fits, My­chal Cole­man, as­so­ciate vice pres­i­dent of hu­man re­sources, and Mary John­son, ben­e­fits spe­cial­ist, at the an­nual awards lun­cheon June 10 in Bethesda.

All award re­cip­i­ents as­sessed by an in­de­pen­dent re­view panel of busi­ness pro­fes­sion­als and mas­ter’s and doc­tor­ate level stu- dents in the fields of busi­ness, in­dus­trial and or­ga­ni­za­tional psy­chol­ogy, hu­man re­sources, en­vi­ron­men­tal science, public health, and diver­sity and in­clu­sion.

CSM is an 11-time re­cip­i­ent of the Ex­cel­lence Seal of Ap­proval Award, a six-time re­cip­i­ent of the Health & Well­ness Seal of Ap­proval Award, a three-time re­cip­i­ent of the EcoLead­er­ship Award and a two-time re­cip­i­ent of the Diver­sity Cham­pion Award.
