Waldorf auto stores donate $10K to local charities
Sheehy Nissan of Waldorf recently donated $5,000 to the Center for Children; and Sheehy Hyundai donated $5,000 to Hospice of Charles County as part of Sheehy Auto Stores’ annual Giving Program for 2016.
The auto group gave $151,000 to charities throughout communities in Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Maryland and Richmond, Va., according to a news release.
“Our employees and family of dealerships do much throughout the year in donating time and money for a variety of charities,” Vince Sheehy, president of Sheehy Auto Stores, said in the release. “We are grateful for our success and pleased to continue our annual end of the year giving campaign that supports a wide array of causes throughout the Mar yland, D.C. and Virginia areas.”
The Center for Children is a private, non-profit organization that provides comprehensive mental health ser vices to children and their fami- lies. Hospice of Charles County is a health care ser vice of high quality, compassionate care that helps terminally ill loved ones and their families live as fully as possible.
