Wal­dorf auto stores do­nate $10K to lo­cal char­i­ties

Sheehy Nis­san of Wal­dorf re­cently do­nated $5,000 to the Cen­ter for Chil­dren; and Sheehy Hyundai do­nated $5,000 to Hos­pice of Charles County as part of Sheehy Auto Stores’ an­nual Giv­ing Pro­gram for 2016.

The auto group gave $151,000 to char­i­ties through­out com­mu­ni­ties in Wash­ing­ton, D.C., Bal­ti­more, Mary­land and Rich­mond, Va., ac­cord­ing to a news re­lease.

“Our em­ploy­ees and fam­ily of deal­er­ships do much through­out the year in do­nat­ing time and money for a va­ri­ety of char­i­ties,” Vince Sheehy, pres­i­dent of Sheehy Auto Stores, said in the re­lease. “We are grate­ful for our suc­cess and pleased to con­tinue our an­nual end of the year giv­ing cam­paign that sup­ports a wide ar­ray of causes through­out the Mar yland, D.C. and Vir­ginia ar­eas.”

The Cen­ter for Chil­dren is a pri­vate, non-profit or­ga­ni­za­tion that pro­vides com­pre­hen­sive men­tal health ser vices to chil­dren and their fami- lies. Hos­pice of Charles County is a health care ser vice of high qual­ity, com­pas­sion­ate care that helps ter­mi­nally ill loved ones and their fam­i­lies live as fully as pos­si­ble.
