Robert “Bob” Franklin War­ren Jr.

Robert “Bob” Franklin War­ren Jr., 77, of Bryan­town, MD, passed away Jan­uary 19, 2017 at INOVA Fairfax Hos­pi­tal. Bob was born Jan. 16, 1940 in Wash­ing­ton, DC; he was the son of the late Robert Franklin War­ren Sr. and Bertha El­iz­a­beth Frank War­ren.

Bob had a 35 year ca­reer in the Fed­eral gov­ern­ment; he was the Direc­tor of Ad­min­is­tra­tive Op­er­a­tions for NASA prior to his re­tire­ment in 1993. He re­tired as a Ma­jor from the Army re­serves af­ter serv­ing for 38 years.

Bob is sur­vived by his wife, Pamela War­ren of 52 years; daugh­ters: Robin War­ren (Glenn Frank) and Renée Ste­wart (Robert); Grand­chil­dren: Jes­sica Mudd; Ash­ley War­ren; Robert Ste­wart Jr. (Dana); Sa­man­tha Ste­wart; Crys­tal Ste­wart; great grand­child, Colton War­ren Mudd; brother, Ron­ald War­ren (Sandy); aunt Libby Collins; and many other fam­ily and friends.

The fam­ily will re­ceive friends for Bob’s Life Cel­e­bra­tion on Thurs­day, Jan­uary 26, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Grace Chapel Min­istries, 39245 Chap­tico Road, Me­chan­icsville, MD 20659.

A Funeral Ser­vice will be held on Fri­day, Jan­uary 27, 10 a.m. Pas­tor Carl H. Sny­der will of­fi­ci­ate. In­ter­ment with Mil­i­tary Hon­ors will fol­low at Res­ur­rec­tion Ceme­tery, 8000 Wood­yard Road, Clin­ton, MD 20735.

Dolores Rose Bryan

On Mon­day, Jan­uar y 16, 2017, af­ter a long ill­ness, Dolores Rose Bryan died at her home in the com­pany of her fam­ily.

Dolores was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band of 52 years, Ge­orge Keith Bryan Jr. Born in Wash­ing­ton, DC, on June 8, 1943, she was the daugh­ter of Al­bert and Thelma Kath­leen Gar­diner. She is sur vived in death by her sis­ter, Shirley Vipond; and brother, Fran­cis Gar­diner. Her brother, Richard Gar­diner is de­ceased.

Dolores was a home­maker and the mother of nine chil­dren: Sarah Dren­nan, Re­becca Zaragoza, Keith Bryan III, Carolyn Bryan (de­ceased), Christa New­man, Joseph, Richard, David, and Wil­liam Bryan.

Fam­ily and home was al­ways her pri­or­ity, and Mom worked with all her heart to make her home warm, wel­com­ing, and lov­ing. Later, af­ter rais­ing her chil­dren, she worked as a mail car­rier, a job she very much en­joyed. Mom’s hob­bies in­cluded an­tique shop­ping and find­ing great bar­gains, read­ing, and countr y mu­sic, work­ing in the yard, and spend­ing time with her fam­ily, in­clud­ing a host of grand­chil­dren and great-grand­chil­dren.

Mom will be greatly missed, but we are com­forted in hers and our faith in Christ Je­sus, and our be­lief in an eter­nal home in Heaven.

View­ing will be held at the Wil­liams Funeral Home on Wed­nes­day, Jan­uary 25, from 10 a.m. un­til time of funeral ser­vices at 12 Noon. In­ter­ment at the Mary­land Veter­ans’ Ceme­tery, Chel­tenham, MD, her fi­nal rest­ing place along­side her hus­band, a Navy Korean War Vet­eran.

Pa­tri­cia Anne “Pat” Mozingo

Pa­tri­cia Anne “Pat” Mozingo, 78, of White Plains, MD, died Jan­uar y 22, 2017. Pat was an ac­count rep­re­sen­ta­tive with Bank of Amer­ica for 20+ years and a mem­ber of New Life Wes­leyan Church of La Plata. She en­joyed bowl­ing, square danc­ing, sewing, work­ing with flow­ers and col­lect­ing dolls. She mostly en­joyed spend­ing time with her fam­ily, es­pe­cially her grand­chil­dren.

She is daugh­ter of the late John Paul Jones and the late Blanche Ar­line Al­ford Jones.

She is sur­vived by her hus­band of 58 years, Richard A. Mozingo; her sons, Gar y L. and John P. Mozingo; her daugh­ters, Cher yl L. King and hus­band James; Julie M. Hardesty and hus­band Robert; Traci A. Grzywacz and hus­band Thomas; broth­ers, Ron­ald, Butch, and Jer­ald Jones, and Steve Vaughn; sis­ters, Judy Roedi­ger, Carol Abell, and Sharon Doyle; grand­chil­dren, Derek, Dil­lon, Den­ver, Zachary, Ricky, Luke, Jacki, Alexan­dra, Devyn, McKin­lee, and La­cie; great-grand­chil­dren, Jake and Will.

Donna Sue Goulet

Donna Sue Goulet, 58, of Shal­lotte, NC, for­merly of King Ge­orge, VA, passed away on Sun­day, Jan­uary 22, 2017 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Cen­ter, Wilm­ing­ton, NC.

She was born in Chev­erly, MD, on Aug. 25, 1958, the daugh­ter of Juanita De­skins of Shal­lotte, NC, and the late Ver­non De­skins.

Donna was re­tired from Charles County Gov­ern­ment, Charles County, MD. She was a mem­ber of Shiloh Bap­tist Church in King Ge­orge, VA.

Sur­viv­ing in ad­di­tion to her mother are her hus­band, Stephen M. Goulet; two sons, Jesse Trumpore and wife, Al­li­son and grand­son, Kai; and Ti­mothy Lesher; two sis­ters, Mar­garete O’Leary and Karen DiFede; a nephew, Sam Rollf; a spe­cial pet, Darla.

Joan P. Rackey

Joan P. Rackey, 79, of Wal­dorf, MD passed away on Jan­uary 21, 2017 at her res­i­dence.

Joan was a long-time home­maker who en­joyed tak­ing care of her fam­ily and be­ing with grand­chil­dren. She was of the Catholic faith and en­joyed read­ing and mu­sic.

She was the daugh­ter of Charles Peter­son and Josephine Marie No­vak Peter­son.

She is sur­vived by her hus­band of 57 years, Mau­rice H. Rackey; her son, Michael D. Rackey; her daugh­ter, Kath­leen R. Rackey; her sis­ters: Bar­bara Baan, Diane Zito, and Janet Oriti; her grand­chil­dren: Shelby, Danyele, Cait­lyn, and Amanda; and her great-grand­daugh­ter, Reece. She is also sur­vived by three nieces and six neph­ews.
