SBDC offers services for small businesses
The Maryland Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network provides training, consulting and market and industry research to help Maryland’s small businesses find solutions to business needs.
New entrepreneurs and seasoned small business owners can benefit from the center’s instructors and small business consultants who share their real-world experience and expertise to help increase chances for success, according to a center newsletter.
Services headings are:
• Professional Development: A variety of comprehensive training classes are available to help gain a better understanding of what it will take to establish and operate a successful business.
• Consulting: The SBDC provides no-cost confidential consulting to prospective and existing small business owners interested in achieving growth and profitability.
• Information You Can Use: Hundreds of research resources on print, video and electronic media are available to start, manage and grow a small business.
