Paint­ing the town mayor

The Gen­eral Small­wood Mid­dle School’s Des­ti­na­tion Imag­i­na­tion Team “The Lit­tle Ras­cals” held part two of its “Cre­ate Our Com­mu­nity” Day on March 4 to raise funds for the Project Outreach chal­lenge — hav­ing lo­cal artists paint boarded-up va­cant build­ings in the town. On Satur­day, Mayor Bran­don Paulin helped raise funds for the project by al­low­ing oth­ers to do­nate $2 or more to throw paint at him at the old PNC Bank in In­dian Head.
