Po­lice seek theft sus­pects, re­ward of­fered

Two sus­pects broke into ve­hi­cles in Wal­dorf, stole items

Po­lice are seek­ing the iden­tity of two sus­pects who broke into, and stole items from, mul­ti­ple cars in Wal­dorf ear­lier in March.

On Fri­day, the Charles County Sher­iff’s Of­fice re­leased pho­tos cap­tured by a home sur­veil­lance sys­tem that de­picts one of the two sus­pects and an­nounced that a cash re­ward has been of­fered for in­for­ma­tion lead­ing to an ar­rest.

Around 4:15 a.m. on March 7, deputies were called to the 12000 block of Sand­stone Street af­ter a res­i­dent re­ported that two peo­ple had bro­ken into her car, a news re­lease states. Po­lice searched the nearby area and found that ve­hi­cles in the area of Flag­stone Street, Pipe­stone Place and Gold­stone Court had also been bro­ken into.
