St. Joseph’s Church breaks ground on new build­ing

St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Pom­fret con­ducted a ground­break­ing cer­e­mony Sun­day, Feb. 25 in front of hun­dreds of parish­ioners. The cer­e­mony is the be­gin­ning of a sub­stan­tial ex­pan­sion of the church to in­clude bath­rooms added to the ex­ist­ing church, an ex­panded park­ing lot and a new church of­fice.
