Gover­nor’s Busi­ness Sum­mit set for May 18

The first Gover­nor’s Busi­ness sum­mit is sched­uled for May 18 in the Hil­ton Bal­ti­more.

The sum­mit, which is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., will ex­plore top­ics on hu­man cap­i­tal, global trends and busi­ness strat­egy, ac­cord­ing to a news re­lease. The speak­ers in­clude Gov. Larry Ho­gan (R), Esti Peshin, di­rec­tor of cy­ber pro­grams for Elta, and John Har­baugh of the Bal­ti­more Ravens.

The break­out ses­sions in­clude: re­defin­ing ur­ban cen­ters, the fu­ture of man­u­fac­tur­ing, en­trepreneur­ship and in­no­va­tion, next gen­er­a­tion learn­ing, ven­ture cap­i­tal, and front­line global threats.
