Eileen and Den­nis Holden of Wal­dorf an­nounce the mar­riage of their daugh­ter, Sara Marie Holden, to Charles Marvin Seifert III, son of Wendy Seifert and Charles Seifert Jr. of Me­chan­icsville.

The wed­ding cer­e­mony took place 5 p.m. Satur­day, Sept. 17, 2016, at Flora Cor­ner Farm, Me­chan­icsville. Din­ner and re­cep­tion fol­lowed at Flora Cor­ner Farm.

The bride was given in mar­riage by her fa­ther, Den­nis T. Holden, and mother, Eileen Holden, and es­corted by her fa­ther. The Hon­or­able W. Louis Hen­nessy of­fi­ci­ated. Joseph Meszaros provided mu­sic for the cer­e­mony. Grace El­iz­a­beth Holden, sis­ter of the bride, read an “Apache Wed­ding Bless­ing.”

Maid of honor was Mary Holden of Wal­dorf, sis­ter of the bride. Brides­maids were Grace Holden, Kodie Hayes and Kath­leen Seifert.

Best man was Mitchell Seifert of Hugh­esville, brother of the groom. Grooms­men were Matthew Holden, brother of the bride, An­drew Gantt, Mark Bar­rows and Bradley Ten­nyson.

The bride is a grad­u­ate of Tow­son Univer­sity and em­ployed as fourth grade teacher with Charles County Pub­lic Schools. She is the grand­daugh­ter of Shirley Jean Gill of Sea Isle City, N.J.

The groom is a grad­u­ate of Tow­son Univer­sity and em­ployed as re­al­tor with RE/MAX in Wal­dorf. He is the grand­son of Katie and Bill Sparks of Mon­tross, Va.

The cou­ple hon­ey­mooned in Vir­ginia Beach, Va., and re­side in LaPlata.
