The fol­low­ing items were com­piled from re­ports from the Charles County Sher­iff’s Of­fice.

Gas sta­tion bur­glar­ized

On May 11, of­fi­cers re­sponded to a gas sta­tion in the 11000 block of Crain High­way in Glasva for the re­port of a bur­glary. In­ves­ti­ga­tion showed some­one broke into the build­ing and stole cig­a­rettes. Pfc. T. McKim­mie is in­ves­ti­gat­ing.

Re­ward of­fered in com­mer­cial robbery case in Wal­dorf

Charles County Crime Solvers is of­fer­ing a cash re­ward of up to $1,000 for in­for­ma­tion lead­ing to the ar­rest of the sus­pects in­volved in a com­mer­cial armed robbery. At 6:08 p.m. on May 4, of­fi­cers re­sponded to Modell’s Sport­ing Goods in the 3000 block of Fes­tival Way in Wal­dorf for the re­port of a theft in progress.

In­ves­ti­ga­tion showed three fe­males and a male en­tered the store car­ry­ing large hand bags and a back pack. Upon en­ter­ing, the sus­pects quickly grabbed large quan­ti­ties of cloth­ing and stuffed them in­side their bags. An em­ployee ob­served the sus­pects and called 911. The sus­pects sprayed the em­ployee with pep­per spray be­fore flee­ing to a tan-col­ored car in the park­ing lot. Any­one with in­for­ma­tion is asked to call Det. M. Kelly at 301-609-6471.
