Gas station burglarize­d

On May 11, officers responded to a gas station in the 11000 block of Crain Highway in Glasva for the report of a burglary. Investigat­ion showed someone broke into the building and stole cigarettes. Pfc. T. McKimmie is investigat­ing.

Reward offered in commercial robbery case in Waldorf

Charles County Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for informatio­n leading to the arrest of the suspects involved in a commercial armed robbery. At 6:08 p.m. on May 4, officers responded to Modell’s Sporting Goods in the 3000 block of Festival Way in Waldorf for the report of a theft in progress.

Investigat­ion showed three females and a male entered the store carrying large hand bags and a back pack. Upon entering, the suspects quickly grabbed large quantities of clothing and stuffed them inside their bags. An employee observed the suspects and called 911. The suspects sprayed the employee with pepper spray before fleeing to a tan-colored car in the parking lot. Anyone with informatio­n is asked to call Det. M. Kelly at 301-609-6471.
