Se­niors earned cer­ti­fi­ca­tion in HVAC, au­to­mo­tive, phar­macy tech

The Robert D. Stethem Ed­u­ca­tional Cen­ter held a recog­ni­tion cer­e­mony Tues­day af­ter­noon for 51 se­niors from Charles County high schools who com­pleted 2.5-year Ca­reer and Tech­nol­ogy Ed­u­ca­tion (CTE) pro­grams of study, at the cen­ter while also at­tend­ing their home schools. Stu­dents re­ceived pro­fes­sional state and national cer­ti­fi­ca­tion in the ar­eas of au­to­mo­tive tech­ni­cian, heat­ing, ven­ti­la­tion and air con­di­tion­ing (HVAC), hor­ti­cul­tural ser­vices, in­ter­ac­tive me­dia pro­duc­tion and phar­macy tech­ni­cian. Grad­u­a­tion cer­e­monies for CCPS stu­dents be­gin Thurs­day.
