D.C. man charged with armed robbery of Waldorf Sunoco
Allegedly robbed employee at knife point
A warrant has been issued for a Washington, D.C., man in connection with an armed robbery in March at a Waldorf gas station.
According to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office, Bryan Anthony Hardman, 33, entered the Sunoco Gas store on Crain Highway in Waldorf. Police say Hardman jumped over the counter, drew a knife and ordered the employee behind the counter to give him money.
Hardman also willfully damaged a display case, cellphone case and bottles of scented oil, according to the indictment filed with the Charles County Circuit Court.
After the employee gave him money, Hardman fled on foot.
Hardman is currently in custody in Washington, D.C., on other charges, according to CCSO.
A grand jury has issued an indictment for Hardman on the charges of armed robbery, robbery, second-degree assault, theft under $1,000 and malicious destruction of property valued under $1,000.
