Charles County De­part­ment of Re­cre­ation, Parks, and Tourism will hold Fish­ing Fun­da­men­tals 8-11:30 a.m. July 17-20 at Gil­bert Run Park, 13140 Charles St., Char­lotte Hall. Park staff will teach fun­da­men­tals of how to fish with live bait, ar­ti­fi­cial lures, fly fish­ing and more. Equip­ment will be pro­vided; par­tic­i­pants en­cour­aged to bring their own fish­ing gear. Chil­dren should have some prior fish­ing ex­pe­ri­ence. Cost $40. Ages 10–15.
